BURNBOARD

Privacy

Last updated October 24, 2026

We keep as little as the board needs to work. There are no accounts, no e-mail addresses, no analytics and no ad trackers on this site.

What we store

  • Your wallet address, your balance, your burns, your takes and your scam reports. Wallet addresses and burns are public on Solana anyway.
  • What you put on a cell: the banner (resized copies, the original file is not kept), title, link and contract address. These are public while they show.
  • A record of each banner upload, including refused ones and why they were refused.
  • Your sign-in session: a random token in an HttpOnly cookie (bb_session) for 30 days, of which we store only a hash, and a cookie with your wallet address (bb_wallet) so the page knows to restore the session.

In your browser

Besides the two cookies, the page keeps the signatures of burns that are still confirming (for a day, so none is lost if you close the tab) and the name of the wallet you used last, in local storage.

Who else sees data

  • Cloudflare serves the site and the banner images and protects them; it sees your IP address and the requests you make.
  • Banner images go to OpenRouter and the vision model behind it (Google Gemini) to be checked for forbidden content.
  • Banner links go to Google Web Risk to be checked for phishing.
  • Burn signatures go to our Solana RPC provider (Helius) to be verified.

Logs

Our server logs requests and actions (sign-ins, burns, takes, reports) with wallet addresses, and the web server sees IP addresses. Logs are kept for about a week and used only to run and protect the site.

Deleting your data

Signing out deletes your session. To have your uploads, reports and records removed, write to @burnboardfun on X with your wallet address; we may ask you to sign a message to show the wallet is yours. What happened on Solana cannot be deleted by anyone, and content that showed on the board may remain in screenshots and link previews.
